The journey to publishing a book was thrilling, challenging, and a rollercoaster to say the least. Many of the author's experiences have shaped him into the person he is today. Our life experiences are our compass to our most authentic version of ourselves. For example, troubling issues will reappear until the student understands the message the teacher is trying to convey. In this case, the teacher is LIFE.

This story will appeal to readers interested in family memoirs, immigration, family reunification, being misunderstood, and natural disasters.
